Meet Dougal

It was quite warm out today so the dogs enjoyed a dirty dip!!!! Dougal, the golden retriever, was not quite so golden by the end of the walk.  Timmy's white bits weren't quite so white either!

All of the dogs enjoying a run and play around

Timmy is wondering where yet another ball has gone.  George (bottom right) has dropped it in the water.  Never to be seen again!!

St Agnes Head Sunday!

Fantastic blowy morning on the coastal path this morning.  Walked Oscar the hairless newfoundland first thing around Polberro and St Agnes Head, then at lunch time walked the section that leads down to Chapel Porth and back around to Beacon with Bluebell, a gorgeous border collie.  Rough seas and wind blew all the cobwebs away.

I LOVE CORNWALL !!!

A Day in the life of.......

My day in pictures.........

1st stop of the day, 8am, Oscar the cat from St Agnes.  Had a game of hide and seek in the garden and played with his mouse.  He is very affectionate and likes to clean my face and hair (though his tongue usually gets a bit caught up in the hair)!

Arrived to walk and feed Oscar at 8.30am - Oscar is a big softie newfoundland with a hair cut....

3rd stop to walk Guiness at Perrancombe - I've been walking Guiness for quite some time now, he is scatty like me so one of my favourite walks!  After this walk I popped home for a quick break
just in time to save a baby rabbit that one of my cats
brought home, phewwww!
4th stop of the day - Tiggy and Bertie for a good walk at Penhale - I have been walking these two for a couple of years now.

After getting car fixed (hole in exhaust and problem with suspension)  it was back to walk and feed Oscar again.

New car signing

Black and white signs, a take off of the Piran flag - it matches my website.   What do you think?

St Agnes Head in Aril

Had a fantastic walk around St Agnes Head / Polberro this week with Frankie, some great views from the cliff path over towards Perranporth.

April Showers!

Rain, rain go away, come again another day
Preferably on a day when I'm not walking dogs, :-)

Bank holiday monday and I am still cuddled up with my cats under the duvet at 10.40, we are all snug and enjoying a duvet day.  But it is tipping down with rain and I have to get up in a minute to go out walking with Bluebell.  I know I will love it once I am out, it is just finding the energy to get out from under this lovely warm duvet, five more minutes lol....

This is Charlie, my cat, sat on his favourite cushion

The day got better!

The day definitely did get better.  I managed to pull myself out of bed and walked for an hour and a half with Bluebell going from the Beacon to Chapel Porth to St Agnes Head.  It rained to start off with but turned into a lovely blistery blustery day.......

I did get wet walking Guiness later though!!

Raining cats and dogs

Where has the lovely spring weather gone??  I was out walking Tara and Oscar at 6.45am when the heavens opened and we were hailed on.  The dogs were not amused.  We were so fed up with getting wet that I decided to just let them have a proper dip.

Pictures were taken at Wheal Busy, Chacewater.  The cats were nice and snug at home - a couple of them below :-

These guys love a brush and a cuddle, I keep forgetting to take my black jumper off, with hairy consequences!!  Off to check on the rabbits and chickens, hope the rain has stopped :-)

Easter Pet Sitting

A very busy day!!  I started a pet sit at Chacewater, Cornwall today - for 2 dogs, 4 cats, 9 chickens and 3 rabbits.  Not forgetting Neo the parrot (who really doesn't seem to like me very much).  I'm hoping a few almonds will soften him up.

After morning walkies, I spent a couple of hours with them before setting off on my midday mission - to walk 3 dogs, feed 2 cats, feed my cats and feed my sisters guinea pigs.  Thankfully that has all been done, all animals have been satisfactorily fed, cuddled and exercised and I have just got back from a nice evening walk.  Fantastic day for it, I love my job!

Some pictures from today:

Oscar the cat from St Agnes

Gismo the cat from Perranporth - it looks like he is crying but he is cleaning, how cute

I will post some Chacewater pics tomorrow, the cats and dogs here are fantastic.
