Never a dull moment!! I was walking Tiggy, Bertie and Bluebell at Penhale and Bertie found a rabbit. He wouldn't let me anywhere near it and wouldn't drop it either. So in the end, I had to wait for him to finish crunching his way through it before he would come and get in the car.
On the way home suddenly all I could hear was retching. Yuck, rabbit guts all over the back of the car.
More washing!

DOG BALLS
I once posted a question on facebook that said 'every time I go for a walk, I take two balls and come back with none'. The question is, what happens to all the lost dog balls? It can't only be me that loses them. But this week I discovered the answer. Frankie, a cross breed spaniel has always been ball and stick obsessive. On many walks we have lost countless balls. This is usually the result of really bad aim. I would love to see how many balls are lost in the scrub at Penhale. I aim the ball thrower in one direction and the ball either falls ten feet in front of me or travels in completely the wrong direction.
Earlier this week Frankie, who was feeling especially greedy, decided he would fetch both of the balls I was throwing. So there he was, walking around with 2 balls in his mouth, then all of sudden, he ran up a sand dune and stuck his head in a rabbit hole. 5 seconds later and he had dropped both balls down the rabbit hole, never to be seen again. Except by the rabbits of course, who now have two massive great big tennis balls in their living room!!!
That is what happens to all the dog balls :-)
